Will Hardy Playing Career
Will Hardy is a professional American soccer player. He is currently playing for the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer. Hardy started his professional playing career in 2014 with the LA Galaxy, who selected him in the first round of the MLS SuperDraft.
Early Career
Hardy was born in Southern California and grew up playing soccer in the local youth leagues. He was part of the successful American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) program and played club soccer locally. After high school, he attended San Diego State University, where he excelled on the school’s soccer team.
Professional Soccer
At the 2014 MLS SuperDraft, Hardy was selected with the 15th overall pick by the LA Galaxy. Over the next two seasons with the Galaxy, Hardy played in 37 games, scoring four goals and recording one assist. He then signed with the San Jose Earthquakes in 2016.
At San Jose, Hardy has established himself as a key member of the club’s starting lineup. He has played in over 120 games and scored eight goals. He has also provided 11 assists and was named to the MLS All-Star team in 2018.
International Career
