Lady Gaga was born on March 28, 1986 – making her 23 years old when she started her musical career in 2009. Her music career quickly took off and she attracted the attention of Sony/ATV Music Publishing who signed her as a songwriter. Immediately afterwards she was signed to Interscope Records, who released her first two singles, Just Dance and Poker Face.
The first two singles, Just Dance and Poker Face gave Lady Gaga an unprecedented level of success, as both songs hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Gaga’s debut album, The Fame, also hit number one on the Billboard 200 and quickly earned her a Grammy Award for “Best Electronic/Dance Album”.
At the age of 23, Lady Gaga had already become an international success, paving the way for her future career and accolades.
