Nash’s Professional Career
Nash was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in 1996 and stayed with them until 2012. During his 8 years with the team, Nash was an eight-time NBA All-Star and was awarded the NBA Most Valuable Player twice for the 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 seasons.
He then went on to play for the Dallas Mavericks until 2008, ending his 4-year tenure by winning the NBA Western Conference Championship with the team. After this, Nash was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers and played for them till his retirement in 2015.
