Alex Rodriguez is one of the greatest players of all time. Throughout his career, he has achieved some amazing accomplishments which have cemented him as one of the best to ever play the game. Here are some of A Rod’s career highlights!

MLB All-Time Home Run List

A Rod is fourth on the list of all-time career home runs, with 696. He is behind only Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, and Babe Ruth. He is the only player to hit 30 home runs in each of his first 14 seasons, an incredible feat. A Rod also currently holds the single season record for most RBIs in one season, with at least 184 in 2007.

14-Time All-Star Selection

Rodriguez has been selected to the All-Star team a total of 14 times throughout his career. This is second amongst active players, behind only Albert Pujols, who is still playing. This is an astounding accomplishment, given that only the best players of the year are chosen for the All-Star team.


A-Rod has achieved multiple awards and honors, including:

    • AL MVP – 2003 (shared with Carlos Delgado)


    • Hank Aaron Award – 2003, 2005, 2007 (given to the most outstanding player)


    • Silver Slugger Award – 1996-2003, 2005-2007 (given to the best offensive player at each position)


    • AL Gold Glove Award – 2002, 2003 (given to the best defensive player)
